Independence Day Parade
Friday, July 4 at 10 a.m.
Sponsored by the Derby VFW Post 7253 and American Legion Post 408.

Parade Route: Begins at Panther Stadium, proceeds west on Madison to Georgie, south on Georgie to Market, east on Market back to the middle school (entrance near tennis courts). View the parade route map.

Derby Historical Museum Open
July 4 after the parade (approx. 11 a.m.) to 2 p.m.
Woodlawn and Market
Admission is free, donations are welcome.

Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a relaxing and family-friendly evening. The mainstage features the Derby Community Choir and Senior Center Readers Theater with patriotic songs and readings.

The Derby Optimist Club’s bounce house and children’s activities will be on site as well as free ice cream from Hiland Dairy. Food will be available for purchase from B.S. Sandwich Press. Arrive early to avoid parking delays.
