Weather-Related Closings
February 20, 2013
The City of Derby would like to announce its weather-related closings for February 20 and 21.
February 20
The Derby Public Library will close at 6:00 p.m. All events and activities are canceled.
February 21
The following city facilities/services will be closed:
- City Hall
- Welcome Center
- Senior Center (all events and activities canceled)
- Derby Dash public transportation
- Municipal Court (court will not be held)
- Public Library (all events and activities canceled)
Due to the volume of snow coming down now and predicted overnight, Public Works crews will focus their snow removal and street treatment efforts on K-15 and Rock Road. The other primary roadways (Patriot, Meadowlark, James, Madison, Chet Smith, Buckner, and Woodlawn) will be treated as time allows.
