Recycle Your Christmas Trees at High Park

The City of Derby will have a Christmas tree recycle lot at High Park, 2700 E. Madison, for residents to drop off their undecorated trees. The recycle lot, also known as the Chip Site, is located northwest of the lighted ball fields.
Trees can be dropped off beginning Wednesday, December 19 until Sunday, January 13 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The lot will be open every day and will only accept Christmas trees during this period.
On Saturday, December 29 from 8:00 a.m. to Noon, the Derby 4-H Club will be working at the recycle lot, helping residents unload and stack trees.
The High Park Chip Site is open year round and accepts tree limbs and branches no larger than 10 inches in diameter. Regular hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. The Chip Site is only open on the first Saturday of the month from November through March.
