Current Project: Parks & Recreation Master Plan Update

Employees of the Parks division dedicate their time to the maintenance of all City-owned properties. This responsibility involves managing over 290 acres of parkland in 29 different locations, including 93 playground structures, multiple drainage channels and a variety of equipment and landscaping.

One of the many jewels of our park system is Rock River Rapids Park. The City takes pride in the usability, appearance and safety of this facility. From the basic chores of mowing the grass to caring for trees and repairing equipment, parks crews ensure that our citizens have safe and enjoyable parks and open space throughout the community.
