Parks and Urban Forestry Board

The Parks and Urban Forestry Board, established in 2006, performs a variety of duties, including developing a list of necessary improvements for parks, developing goals and objectives for park use and expansion, and developing short and long range capital improvements.

The Board also studies, investigates, counsels and develops and/or updates and administers a written plan for the care, culture and removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, streets, alleys and other lands owned or managed by the City.

The Board consists of seven members, each serving two-year terms.

Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 11 am at the Public Works Facility, 3531 Corporate Park Drive. View minutes and agendas here.
