Caring for Your Aging Loved Ones Health Care Panel

Derby residents are invited to attend a health care panel focusing on caring for aging loved ones on Monday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the Derby Public Library’s Community Room, 1600 E. Walnut Grove.
If you are in charge of making decisions for your aging loved ones this panel is designed for you. Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice, a Medicare certified agency, is assisting with this community outreach event.
The panel will include Dr. Michael Rausch, the hospice administrator and homecare director of nursing for Heartland Home Health Care & Hospice, a social worker, chaplain, representative from a private duty service company, and a member of the Alzheimer’s Association. Panel members will discuss home health and hospice, how to qualify for and receive services, and how to talk to your doctor about home health or hospice.
The panel format will be question and answer, so bring your questions and be prepared to learn about the care available to you or a loved one.Â
