Go-Ped Class Set For December 27

The Derby Police Department will conduct a Go-Ped Safety Class on Thursday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Derby Police Department, 229 N. Baltimore. The cost of the class is $5. Participants must be at least 10 years old.
A Go-Ped is a motorized scooter that is allowed on city streets. City ordinance requires any Go-Ped operator without a valid driver’s license to complete a training course. Upon successful completion, the rider will be issued an ID card that must be carried when operating the Go-Ped. Participants do not need to bring Go-Peds to class – it is all classroom instruction.
