Agnew Promoted to Sergeant

 The Derby Police Department would like to announce the promotion of Detective Stuart Agnew to the rank of Sergeant effective September 19, 2010.
Sgt. Agnew is a 17-year veteran of the Derby Police Department. He has served as a Police Officer, Master Police Officer and Detective. Sgt. Agnew is a member of the Special Operations Team, serves as a defensive tactics instructor, and is a graduate of Friends University. He has considerable experience investigating financial and internet crimes.
“Sgt. Agnew demonstrates a commitment to his community through exemplary service and a dedication to community policing and customer service,” said Police Chief Robert Lee. “Our congratulations to Sgt. Agnew for this well deserved promotion.”
