City of Derby

National Center for Civic Innovation

The 360 Performance Program was funded through a grant from the National Center for Civic Innovation (NCCI) in New York City. NCCI is a non-profit organization underwritten by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation that funds projects which promote good government practices. The grant from NCCI provided for the city to contract with facilitator Dave Paulsen of Wichita, Kansas, to develop and implement the vision of the 360 Performance Program originally developed by city staff.

Part of Derby’s obligation to the NCCI grant and to its peer cities will be to share the 360 Performance Program with other cities and serve as a resource for other practitioners. The goal is to provide a template that other Kansas communities can adapt to their use regardless of city size, budget, or other logistical constraints.
